Holy Time Warp Batman

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

So, some of my friends are watching this live in Madison tonight. One of our local hip hop groups (Dumate, check ‘em out on iTunes or live here in Madison) opened for him. OMG… I kinda wish I was there. :)

… or whatever.

That’s right folks, I’ve been worried about this feature since I bought the phone. Einstein here helped me breathe a huge sigh of relief tonight.

Official Jabloggy Press Release: I Moved!

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

New OfficeWell, if you call moving from one room to the other “moving”. Yes, this coming weekend we are replacing one of our roommates, so I took their old room (the master bedroom ladies!) and we’re prepping the old room for him to settle into. So, welcome to my first official post from my new and improved (if that’s even possible) location from the other side of the wall.

UPDATE: I thought I’d share the love and post a photo of my office.  Note the wonderful blog site that I’m browsing on my MacBook. :)

Jabloggy Parenting Tips

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

Oh c’mon! Do you really think I’d offer serious parenting tips on this piece of crap?! You must be outta your freakin’ mind if that thought even entered your brain! :)

Enjoy today’s humor link, brought to you by me.  And trust me, this is great.  Really!  I wouldn’t recommend stuff if it was total crap, ok?

Yay, IKEAhhhhhh

Friday, February 15th, 2008

So yeah, it’s all IKEA tomorrow!  My mom and I are driving down to happy fib country to check out some new furniture for my bedroom and dining room.  Lookin’ forward to it. :)

I think someone should write a theme song about / for IKEA.  It’s like the greatest place on earth.  If you disagree, then that means you’re a loser.  Don’t be a loser.  Love the IKEA *you should be in a trance right now*  LOVE THE IKEA…..

Happy V-Day…

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

I hope everyone finds much love with someone or something (if you’re into that sort of “thing”) this holiday season. While you’re at it, could you send me a card or something? Mine’s gonna be a little quiet this year…

SHO’ ME SUM LUV PEEPZ! (whoa my head injury is causing slurred speech again, sorry)

UPDATE: I felt it would be most appropriate to celebrate this year with the Happy Tree Friends. Enjoy. :)

Those Are Dandruff Clouds Being Friendly

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Ok, good news.  We have a new record year for snow!  Wait a freakin’ second… that’s good news?!  Who wrote this God awful rough draft?!!!  Oh wait, yeah… I did.  #$@!#@$

Yes friends, we living in the ultimate “hell froze over” scenario have been snowed on again twice so far this week.  The roads are a lovely shade of oh-shit-my-brakes-aren’t-working and the highways are covered with a beautiful blanket of salt to eat at my vehicle.  Not to mention people have decorated their yards, boulevards and curbs with gorgeous piles sonofabitch I can’t see the on slaught of cars coming at me from behind that 12 foot snow bank.

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love (and by love I mean I’m moving to California tomorrow) this time of year!

A Reading from the Book of Biff…

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

So for the past several months, I’ve been enjoying an interesting daily comic strip that my friend shared with me last fall. It’s called The Book of Biff. I’ll admit it’s not always the most hilarious thing you’ll read, but it does play off of experiences and lessons learned from the author over the course of his life.  Definitely makes you think every now and then.  Let me know if you like it or not in the comments.

A New Study Reveals: My Ass is in Pain

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Last Saturday night I did something I haven’t done in a freakin’ long time.  My brother finally talked me into going out and playing on 4 wheelers out on the lake during my trip back home for the weekend.  We started the evening out great.  The fruitcake I call a brother flipped the wheeler up on it’s ass, dropping me on the ice first, followed by his big ass on top of me.  His words to me?  “Boy that was a soft landing”.  DAMN YOU!  Well, at least one of us had a soft landing.  :)

All in all, it was a great time.  It was like the 5th time I’ve learned to drive a manual, but I did pretty good.  The snow and ice is a tad bumpier than I remember, but that’s ok.  It massaged by sore ass from that glorious fall.
